Hill Learning Academy strives to ensure a personalized and supportive educational environment where high school students can find success and start fresh. We pride ourselves on preparing students for college, the military, and future careers through a flexible curriculum that focuses on core subjects like English, math, science, and social studies. Utilizing a mix of self-paced online courses and direct-instruction live classes, our dedicated administrators, highly qualified teachers, and experienced counselors assist students with everything from daily lessons to post-secondary planning.

Drop Off and Pick Up Information

Enter the West parking lot off Frye Road circle around towards the front of the school.

Student parking is at the park to the south of the school. The parking fee is $25.00 Students who do not have a parking permit for Hill Academy, must park on Frye Road on the West side of the canal.

-- Chief HillFollowing a well-decorated career in the U.S. Air Force, which spanned 28 years, with assignments to the Republic of Vietnam, Tapei, Taiwan, Upper Heyford, England, Republic of Korea, and the Republic of Panama, Chief embarked on a second career with Chandler Unified School District.

In 1990 Chief was hired as an Air Force Junior ROTC instructor at Chandler High. At that time the program was struggling and on probation status with dwindling enrollment. In this capacity, Chief implemented many initiatives that instilled a sense of pride and leadership awareness in cadets.

In 1997 Chief was named assistant principal at Andersen Junior High. Chief oversaw athletics and discipline and created a legacy for reaching out to students who were at risk of failing. Chief developed a rapport with students because they knew that he genuinely cared for them and would do almost anything to assure they succeeded. Chief was great for morale because everyone loved him, even students that he disciplined. The Chandler Chamber of Commerce paid tribute to Chief’s distinguished career by naming him the 2007 Administrator of the Year.

We are very pleased to have the opportunity to honor Chief Hill’s work within our school. It is our goal to ensure all students have the opportunities to find success.

Parking Information

Permits are issued on a first come/first served basis. Students and parents should note that Hill Academy is not responsible for theft or vandalism. Students should lock their cars at all times. All cars must have the parking permit displayed. Students need to park in the assigned lot.

When completing the Parking Permit Form, a valid Arizona driver’s license, year of vehicle/plate number, insurance name/policy number/expiration date, and payment in the office or online.

To pay online, a parent must log into their parent portal. (Students cannot do this through their IC log-in!)

Instructions for payment:

1 - Go to the parent portal - To get to the parent portal, click here - CUSD Parent Portal Page

Please note - If you are a new student, your parent will need to create an account. Parents will only be able to create an account once your student has been enrolled and received a schedule from their counselor.

2 - Log-In to the home screen of the parent portal.

(Students cannot do this through their IC log-in)

3 - Scroll down to the bottom of the page and press "more"

4 - Click "InTouch Fees and Payments"

5 - Select your students name and "Items at student’s school"

6 - Select Parking Permit

7 - Select Parking Permit for proper grade level

8 - Add to cart and check out. Items should appear in the cart found in the upper right corner of the screen.

9 - Keep a copy of your receipt! You will need the receipt number to get your permit.

10 - Print the Parking Permit Form and bring it to the office to get your parking permit.

*Purchasing a permit does not get you a spot, you will need to complete and return the application as well.
